Podiatry is the study, diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle and lower leg including biomechanical and musculo-skeletal disorders.
Podiatry includes the following:
- Custom made orthoses (in-soles)
- Biomechanical assessments
- Gait analysis
- Podiatric medicine (eg. podiatric care for diabetes and rheumatology)
- Minor surgery for In-growing toe nails
- General chiropody
